Namaste from India!!

It’s taken me a while to get it ready, but here is my India post. I spent all of December and January working in Bangalore India. It was quite the experience, and I’m really glad I had the opportunity to do it. It’s always a good experience to get out of the country and see new things, and for me it was also very interesting to not only see, but participate in a project that has been outsourced. I certainly have a better understanding now of how an outsourced project is set up and what does and does not work, particularly in dealing with the cultural differences between the U.S., Europe and India.

Kim was able to come out for a couple weeks over Christmas and New Year’s, and we took the opportunity to go up to Mumbai for about a week. That was really fun, and it was good to see some of the differences between Bangalore and other parts of the country.

While we were in Bangalore we went to an orphange and had a great time meeting with the children there, handing out Christmas candy and talking with the Pastor who runs the place.

All-in-all we had a great time, but there really is no place like the good old U.S. of A. Click on the links below to see pictures of our adventures in India!
